The co-founders of Futureverse, Shara Senderoff and Aaron McDonald, have launched a new $50 million fund and venture studio called Born Ready. The fund will invest in early-stage Web3 and metaverse startups, and the venture studio will provide hands-on support to help these companies grow and scale.
Senderoff and McDonald are both experienced entrepreneurs and investors. Senderoff is the former CEO of Futureverse, and McDonald is the former CTO of Futureverse. They are also both co-founders of The Root Network, a public decentralized blockchain network optimized for metaverse apps and experiences.
Born Ready is looking to invest in startups that are building innovative solutions for the metaverse. The fund is particularly interested in startups that are developing new ways to create, share, and experience content in the metaverse.
The venture studio will provide hands-on support to help Born Ready’s portfolio companies succeed. This support will include access to the Root Network, as well as mentorship from Senderoff, McDonald, and other experienced entrepreneurs and investors.
