While 160 million new users came online in 2023, growth is slowing. Closing this gap could boost the global economy by $3.5 trillion by 2030, primarily benefiting low- and middle-income countries. The GSMA emphasizes the need for collaboration among various stakeholders to improve mobile connectivity and address these challenges.
