Capria Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on the Global South, has announced the launch of its $100 million Capria India Fund III, with a greenshoe option of $125 million. The fund aims to invest in 25-30 startups in sectors like HRtech, fintech, SaaS, and climate, with average investments between $500,000 and $2 million. It plans to allocate 25% for follow-on investments in previous portfolio companies to enhance returns. Domestic investors are expected to contribute 60% of the fund, with interest also coming from international markets. Capria currently manages Rs 670 crore across its three India funds.
