JET Charge, an Australia-based company specializing in electric vehicle (EV) chargers, has raised AUD $72 million (USD $45 million) to enhance EV charging infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand. Founded in 2012 by Tim Washington and Ellen Liang, the company has installed over 20,000 chargers and operates a “Charging-as-a-Service” model. The new funding will accelerate this service and support technology development for large-scale EV infrastructure. The investment round, led by Mirova’s Energy Transition Fund, includes participation from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and RACV, reflecting a commitment to sustainable transport and decarbonization efforts.
