Last week, six of India’s top ten companies added a total of Rs 86,847.88 crore to their market capitalization, with Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank leading the gains. The BSE Sensex rose by 657.48 points (0.84%), and the Nifty increased by 225.9 points (0.95%). HDFC Bank’s market cap increased by Rs 20,235.95 crore, while Reliance added Rs 20,230.9 crore. Other notable gains included ITC and ICICI Bank. Conversely, State Bank of India, LIC, and Infosys experienced valuation declines. Despite fluctuations, Reliance retained its status as the most valued Indian company.
