Energy Revolution Ventures (ERV), a venture capital firm focused on electrification, has launched an $18 million seed and series A fund dedicated to deeptech innovations. This fund aims to invest in scalable technologies addressing major energy challenges, including energy storage, carbon capture, and renewable fuels. Limited partners include family offices from the metals and energy sectors and Bidra Innovation Ventures of Morocco’s OCP Group. ERV has already invested in nine companies, such as Green Li-ion and Oort Energy. Co-founder Marcus Clover emphasized the transformative potential of renewable energy and the importance of electrification for a prosperous future.
