FTV Capital has raised over $4 billion for two new funds to support fast-growing companies seeking capital amid a scarcity of IPOs. The firm secured $3.4 billion for its largest fund, FTV VIII, which aims to make investments between $60 million and $300 million, and raised $651 million for FTV Ascend I, targeting investments of $20 million to $60 million. FTV plans to make 15 to 20 investments through each fund, focusing on sectors like artificial intelligence and financial technology. The firm is also expanding its presence in Europe following a minority stake sale to Blackstone in 2023.
