Jeff Horing’s Insight Partners has solidified its status in New York venture capital with the recent closing of Fund XIII and a second Opportunity fund, totaling $12.5 billion. This brings Insight’s assets under management to $90 billion. The firm plans to use part of the new capital for buyout software investments. Despite competition from Thrive, which led major deals in 2024, Insight remains a key player, co-leading a record $10 billion round for Databricks. In a challenging IPO market, Insight reported over $8 billion in exits for its portfolio companies through acquisitions in 2024.
