JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s global markets co-head, Jason Sippel, is departing for Rokos Capital Management, where he will serve as deputy chief investment officer and global head of markets. Pranav Thakur will assume the role of sole head of JPMorgan’s trading desk. Sippel has been with JPMorgan for over 20 years, significantly contributing to its equities division. Rokos, managing $19 billion and recently achieving a 31% return, welcomes Sippel to its partnership board, pending regulatory approval. Thakur, a JPMorgan veteran since 2007, will continue to drive the firm’s trading strategies following Sippel’s exit.
