The Ghana Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (GVCA) has appointed Amma Gyampo as its new CEO, succeeding Hannah Acquah. Gyampo, a seasoned strategist with two decades of experience in impact investing and private sector development, aims to strengthen Ghana’s private capital industry. Her leadership will focus on minimizing investment barriers, enhancing collaboration, and promoting policies to support local and international investors. GVCA’s Board Chair, Matthew Boadu Adjei, expressed optimism about Gyampo’s ability to drive reforms in the sector, emphasizing the importance of her experience in building consensus and fostering collaborative industry actions for job creation and SME growth.
