Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính has issued a directive requiring detailed reports on delayed investment projects to address challenges hindering socio-economic development. As of February 7, only 33 localities and nine ministries submitted their reports, well past the January 20 deadline. The Prime Minister praised those who complied but mandated the remaining agencies to submit their reports by February 17 and state-owned corporation performance reviews by February 15. Failure to comply will result in investigations by the Government Inspectorate. A steering committee was established on December 12, 2024, to facilitate the removal of investment project roadblocks, led by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hoà Bình.
