On February 14, 2025, Azerbaijan hosted a significant conference focused on trade and investment development among Turkic states, organized by the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) and the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States (TCCI). Attendees included government officials, diplomats, and entrepreneurs from member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). Key discussions centered on investment opportunities, business cooperation, and support for women entrepreneurs. A memorandum of cooperation was signed, and TIF’s authorized capital was increased to $600 million to enhance support for small and medium-sized enterprises. Uzbekistan proposed hosting a Turkic Women Entrepreneurs Forum in May 2025.
