EIB Global has invested $75 million in Helios Fund V, aimed at enhancing Africa’s digital, financial, and tech sectors, in line with EU-Africa Global Gateway priorities. Announced during the Finance in Common Summit in Cape Town, the investment supports companies in digital infrastructure, financial services, and tech-enabled business services. Helios Fund V, managed by Helios Investment Partners, will allocate at least 30% of its portfolio to gender equality initiatives.
