The Arab Energy Fund has launched the TAEF Hartree Cleantech LP, a $120 million partnership with Hartree Partners, aimed at accelerating investment in decarbonization technologies across the MENA region. This UK-based platform will focus on venture capital for companies in physical and digital decarbonization. Hartree Partners, through its subsidiary Vertree, has been investing in cleantech innovations since 2020, collaborating with notable investors like BlackRock and Microsoft. Leaders from both organizations emphasized the initiative’s potential to support sustainable energy solutions and expand the global cleantech ecosystem, enhancing energy security and sustainability goals for member countries.
