Dominion Energy is making significant progress on its $9.8 billion Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project, now 43% complete and on track for late 2026 completion. The 2.6-GW project, the largest offshore wind initiative in the U.S., has seen a reduction in its levelized cost of electricity to $56/MWh. The company has installed 78 monopoles and two marine export cables, with approximately $5.3 billion spent to date. Dominion aims to power around 660,000 homes upon completion.
