On November 2, 2024, the international non-profit organization MPAI concluded its 49th General Assembly (MPAI-49) in Geneva, approving two technical specifications for public comment: AI Framework (MPAI-AIF) V2.1 and Data Types, Formats, and Attributes (MPAI-TFA) V1.2. MPAI-AIF V2.1 outlines the Machine Learning Model Data Type, while MPAI-TFA V1.2 details the Machine Learning Model Qualifier. These specifications facilitate compliance signaling of machine learning models with relevant regulations. Community comments are requested by November 16, 2024. MPAI TFA V1.1 has been adopted as a regular standard for data types related to media.
