Anandamoy Roychowdhary has left Peak XV Partners after over 11 years, marking the second significant departure from the VC firm this year, following managing director Piyush Gupta’s exit in April. Roychowdhary’s departure has been anticipated since May, and he is currently listed as “unemployed.” He rose through the ranks from director of technology in 2013 to partner when Peak XV was established. His exit comes amid a restructuring at Peak XV, which recently reduced its fund size and adjusted compensation structures. The firm has faced challenges with investments in companies like BYJU’S and Toplyne.
