Kenya’s cleantech company Stima has secured undisclosed funding from Renew Capital, marking the latter’s 15th investment this year in African startups. Founded in 2020 by Jason Gras and Emile Fulcheri, Stima offers a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that provides fleet operators with insights to optimize operations, enhance battery performance, and manage warranty claims. The investment aims to aid Stima’s mission of transitioning around 15 million motorbike taxi drivers in sub-Saharan Africa to electric two-wheelers, thereby promoting sustainable mobility solutions in the region.
