He joined in February 2013 as Director of Technology and became a Partner in June 2023. Previously, he advised several portfolio companies, including Byju’s. His departure follows that of Piyush Gupta, who left earlier this year. Roychowdhary shared a poetic farewell on social media, mentioning his next steps are undisclosed. Peak XV, managing $9.2 billion across 13 funds, continues its focus on investments in India and Southeast Asia, aiming to deploy $2.5 billion in uninvested capital.
