NOV-24 AUM GROWS MARGINALLY AS FLOWS TAPER
In November 2024, mutual fund inflows significantly decreased to ₹60,295 Crore from ₹2.39 Trillion in October. Equity flows fell over 14% to ₹35,944 Crore, shifting from sectoral funds to mid-cap and small-cap investments. Debt funds saw net inflows of ₹12,916 Crore, much lower than the previous month. SIP flows remained above ₹25,000 Crore, but slightly decreased for the first time since June 2023. The AUM of Indian mutual funds reached ₹68.08 Trillion, with 23 fund categories exceeding ₹1 Trillion. Active debt and equity funds showed positive inflows, while hybrid and passive funds experienced sharp declines.
