Iconiq Growth has appointed Amit Agarwal, former president and chief product officer of Datadog, as a general partner. Matt Jacobson, also a general partner at Iconiq, highlighted their long-standing relationship, noting Agarwal’s significant contributions to Datadog’s growth from a startup to a public company with a market cap of $48.2 billion. Agarwal announced his departure from Datadog in May but will remain on its board. His extensive experience includes roles at Quest Software and Embarcadero Technologies. Iconiq Growth, part of Iconiq Capital with $89 billion in assets, recently closed its seventh flagship fund at $5.75 billion.
