Urban Company, a hyperlocal services startup, plans to file draft papers for a ₹3,000 crore IPO by March. The company will issue both new and existing shares, primarily raising capital for growth. Kotak Mahindra Capital, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley will oversee the IPO process. Additionally, investor Prosus intends to invest $30 million (around ₹252 crore) in a secondary deal to partially exit Bessemer Venture Partners. Urban Company has reduced its losses by 70% in FY24, reporting a pre-tax loss of ₹93 crore, while Q1 FY25 revenue reached ₹281 crore. The company also formed a joint venture in Saudi Arabia.
