SEBI proposes a Specialised Investment Fund (SIF) to bridge the gap for investors with moderate capital and higher risk tolerance. SIFs will leverage diverse strategies and require certified fund managers. Taxation frameworks for SIFs are yet to be determined, with expectations for clarification in the Union Budget 2025.
