Danny Boisson has joined AMD Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), focusing on portfolio development. Previously, Boisson spent four years with Mach49, a venture builder and VC firm, and has experience with climate tech VC Amasia and Hall Capital Partners. AMD Ventures, formerly the AMD Fusion Fund, invests in startups related to pervasive AI and next-generation data center technology. The firm has made 67 investments and achieved 25 exits, with its recent investment in Absci, an AI-powered synthetic biology startup.
