The first Gulf-Jordan Investment Conference will commence on Wednesday at the Dead Sea, aiming to enhance economic connections between Jordan and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Organized by the Federation of GCC Chambers and the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, the event will focus on public-private partnerships and investment opportunities in various sectors, including transport, logistics, technology, and industry. With bilateral trade rising from $5.5 billion in 2019 to $8.6 billion in 2022, the conference seeks to further deepen trade relations and explore areas like agriculture, food security, tourism, and medical tourism.
