Equentis Wealth Advisory Services has launched its first Category I Alternative Investment Fund, the Equentis Angel Fund, targeting a corpus of INR 500 crore ($60 million) to invest in early-stage Indian startups. The fund will focus on Pre-Series A and Bridge-to-Series A investments, ranging from INR 4–10 crores ($500K–$1.2 million), prioritizing startups with a Total Addressable Market of INR 8,000 crore ($1 billion). Over the next 18-24 months, it aims to support 40-50 startups in sectors such as Defence, Consumer Tech, and AI. Equentis has already made its first investment in Yatnavat Technologies.
