The private equity sector has seen progress in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), yet significant challenges remain. The LP Perspectives Study 2025 revealed that only 33% of investors rated their general partners’ DE&I efforts as ‘good.’ Despite ongoing discussions, tangible improvements have been slow, with women holding only 23% of private equity roles and just 3% of global venture fundraising attributed to women-led funds.
