Prudent Investment Managers, founded by Prashasta Seth, has launched a Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) with a target of INR 500 Cr to invest in early-stage startups. The firm has already secured INR 250 Cr from family offices and plans to invest INR 30 Cr to INR 50 Cr in 10-15 startups. With INR 750 Cr in assets under management, Prudent aims to focus on pre-Series A and Series A companies with sustainable business models. The investment strategy emphasizes concentrated bets and significant follow-on funding, aiming for predictable returns while minimizing risks.
