The New Mexico State Investment Council (NMSIC), based in Santa Fe, manages $60.4 billion in assets with an 8.03% allocation to private equity. In February, NMSIC approved up to $715 million in new commitments, including $100 million to Arcline Capital Partners IV for US industrial buyouts. Additionally, it pledged $150 million to Bain Capital Fund XIV and $300 million to a co-investment vehicle targeting $10 billion. NMSIC also committed $150 million to Bain Capital Insurance Fund II, focusing on financial services, and $15 million to 8VC Fund VI, which invests in TMT opportunities in Israel, Russia, and Turkey.
