Cornerstone Ventures, an Indian SaaS-focused venture capital firm, announced the first close of its $200-million second investment fund, raising approximately $40 million. Founded by ex-Reliance executives Rajiv Vaishnav and Abhishek Prasad, the fund aims for final closure by December 2025. The firm previously raised $50 million for its first fund in 2019, making 21 investments, primarily in enterprise SaaS companies. Cornerstone plans to secure additional capital from domestic institutions and HNIs. Recently, it reported an acquisition of portfolio firm IntelligenceNode by IPG and is finalizing another acquisition expected by March 2025. Suresh Pareek joins as General Partner.
